Fürth demonstrates farewell to Leitl

The SPVGG Greuther Fürth does not want to participate in speculation about an alleged premature farewell to rise trainer Stefan Leitl.

"Stefan Leitl did not tell us so far that he will leave the club. Otherwise, we do not participate in rumors and do not invite them," said Managing Director premature farewells, Rachid Azzouzi, the "German Press Agency" on request.

The "picture" reported that Leitl would leave the table last of the football Bundesliga "in the summer almost sure". The 44-year-old is supposed to have allegedly communicated to the club officials. Second division FC Schalke 04 is traded as a possible new club.

Leitl has been coach in Fürth since February 2019. His contract runs until June 30th of June 2023. Leitl has surprisingly led to the francs last year in the Bundesliga. Despite a disappointing first round, the Fürther responsible for Azzouzi never questioned the climbing coach.

For the second half, Leitl could stabilize the team. The descent is at ten points behind relegation Square 16 before the last six season games but only a matter of time.
