In a published excerpt from Adam Christopher's novel, readers learn that Rey's parents Dathan and Miramir were called and for years on the run from Palpatine and his followers. The book itself is mainly about Luke Skywalker and Lando Calrissian , which are merging a few years before the events of the sequel trilogy to get to the goal of their missions-Luke is looking for the Sith planet Exegol and Lando is looking for his lost daughter.
The story should give the rise of skywalker further context and so the two meet Dathan and Miramir, who are followed by Ochi by Bestoon . It will certainly be exciting to learn more about the past of Rey's parents. For example, how Dathan as a clone of Palpatine succeeded in fleeing and what led to the fact that he and Miramir had to leave their daughter on Jakku and gave their lives for their security.
the future of Star Wars films
Lucasfilm is devoted to the secrets of the Rise of Skywalker at a time when attempts are made to find out what the future of Star Wars films will look like. Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy has already announced in an interview with Vanity Fair that the central family history around the Skywalkers has come to an end with the last film . In the new films, you want to devote yourself to fresh stories, which still maintains a connection to George Lucas's mythology.
Lucasfilm currently has at least three Star Wars films in the works: Patty Jenkins' Rogue Squadron, Taika Waititis Untitled Film and a film project by Marvel boss Kevin Feige .
