The next Assassin's Creed is said to be set in the Aztec civilization
Since Assassin's Creed hit the market almost two years ago, there hasn't been much talk about the next main installment of assassins creed. And now, rumors indicate that it will be set in the Aztec civilization, an idea that has been reinforced a little more thanks to the confirmation of famous video game industry leakers.
The new report comes from the famous YouTuber, Jeremy Penter, aka ACG, who has had successful reports with other major releases in the past. The young man shared a tweet where he states that the next game of Assassin's Creed will be from Aztecs , although he does not give more details about it, including a release date or revelation.
One of the evidence that generated this speculation was through the official account of Ubisoft Latam, who shared a fan art of a possible murderer with clothes inspired by this culture. Despite this, games in the franchise were released without a problem, leaving aside this fanart that is now coming back to life in the industry.
It is worth mentioning that Ubisoft reported not long ago that they will have an event in which they will present new video games, as well as some DLC's of the existing ones. That could be the possible scenario to present the Assassin's Creed inspired by the Aztec empire, but for now these comments are just simple speculation.
