Rogue Like Dark Fantasy FPS Witchfire has been postponed -from arena type to semi open world
Poland's developer THE ASTRONAUTS has revealed that the release of the Rogelio Dark Fantasy FPS Witch fire developed by the company will postpone from the 4th quarter of 2022 to early 2023.
The main reason for the postponement is to redesign game experiences. Initially, this work was developed in the arena type that entering the area, fighting monsters, and selecting the next area, as in other rogue light works, but changed to Semi Open World. It was done.
In the Semi open world, the walls of the in-game world are gone, so you can explore the area you want to go at any time. The Semi open world is only you can search freely than the old game design and is not a complete open world.
It also states that various problems have occurred by making this work, which is a dark fantasy FPS but a rogue-like work, is an open world. Monsters should move between the areas and chase the players, what will happen if they defeat monsters spawned in two areas, and how to defeat them in a single road with many monsters. The questions such as that are the examples.
It took a few months to redesign the games as described above, but it is currently being developed smoothly. In the near future, 2D art related to Halloween will be released.
Witch fire will be distributed on a PC (Epic Games store) in early 2023.
