SpVgg Vreden holds the class
It had already indicated in the past few weeks, now it is official. SpVgg Vreden will also play Oberliga football in the coming season. Against the SG Finnentrop-Bamenohl, the team of Engin Yavuzaslan celebrated a deserved 2-1 win and thus the first team brought the relegation in dry towels.
It took a while until the pendulum in an otherwise quite balanced game was in a direction. It was only in the 67th minute that Vreden's attacker Ostenkötter took out one of the few options freezing cold and completed 1-0. Vreden, inspired by the lead goal, pressed the preliminary decision from then on, which was supposed to succeed a few minutes later. In the 77th minute, Korthals increased to 2-0 and shot his team towards relegation. Shortly before the end, thones shortened to 1: 2, but the guests could not take the victory that day.
With 38 points, Vreden stands in place for places seven to eleven in the table and thus secures the early relegation. The SG Finnentrop-Bamenohl, meanwhile, has to look back again. After the victories of the competition from Hamm (2-1 against Sprockhövel), Clarholz (2: 0 against Ennepetal) and Holzwickede (2: 0 against Westfalia Herne), the upholstery melts to three points.
TuS Haltern has to go down
The topic of Oberliga has now been done for the TuS Haltern am See. After the clear 1: 4 bankruptcy against the second guard of Prussia Münster, the team of Timo Ostdorf can no longer be saved and has to start a walk into the sixth class. With 20 points on three remaining games, the TuS is currently eleven points behind the separator.
